frequently asked questions

i'm not super comfortable in front of the camera...

Don't you fret my dear, neither am I. That's why I'm behind the camera. I will do everything I can to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and the most yourself during our shoot. Good music helps, I'll even let you DJ if you want. Let's have fun!

where are you located? are you willing to travel?

I'm based in Boone, North Carolina. I am more than happy to travel, I love to! While it's rare, travel fees may be tacked on to your package depending on the distance to cover gas, flights, hotel stays, etc. but we can cross that bridge when we get there.

can we meet before our session?

I love making new friends.
If you're local, I would love to grab a beer or coffee with you! If not, we can absolutely set up a phone or video call and get to know each other a bit.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At the current moment, I accept cash, personal check, cashiers checks, and Venmo. I hope to be able to accept card payments at some point in the near future.

How will you deliver the photos?

I use a super badass program called PixieSet. Once I finish processing an album, all of the high-resolution images are uploaded into an online gallery. I'll send you the link via email. From there, you can view and download the images and share the link with family/friends if you want.

how long will it take to receive our photos?

I do my best to get my editing done in a timely manner, so I typically put my turnaround time at 1-4 weeks. During peak photographing seasons (graduation, summer weddings, fall weddings, etc.) it can trend more towards the longer side due to my being stacked with shoots. I also work full time on top of this. Please let me know if you have any specific needs, and I will be transparent with you as well!

do you require a deposit?

It depends on the type of shoot you are booking. We will discuss this as we get further into the booking process.

expecting the unexpected...

As consumers, we all have expectations when making commitments. As your photographer, I will do be very best to exceed your expectations. We may not get every shot you could imagine, the weather might not be perfect. But we will work together to cross the T's and dot the I's, and make the very most of our time together!
